My name is Jesica Ellis. My husband Michael and I met at a State University in Upstate New York, where we were college sweethearts. We have lived in Ontario for 15 years and will celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary this year. We have two amazing children, Alexander and Sophia, who are both students at Ontario High School. We have one pet, an 8 year old rescue dog named Stanley.
My work after college centered around clinical and research studies in the hospital and private laboratory setting, specifically within the fields of Surgical Pathology and Histology. After expanding our family, I had the opportunity to work alongside my husband at a Youth Camp & Conference Center, which set my career on a new path, from which I haven't looked back. It has been a joy and a privilege of mine to serve the students and staff at Ontario Local Schools as a librarian for the past 10 years. Sharing my love of reading with students and watching them grow into excited readers on their own has been an amazing experience. I am honored to begin my second year as the Middle School Librarian and am looking forward to collaborating with teachers and staff as we connect students with tools and resources to foster knowledge and growth. |
